so today in weird things that only happen to me:
I was stopped at a red light and there was a pedestrian crossing on the other side of the intersection. He was middle-aged, had an epic mustache and was on his cellphone. Halfway through the crosswalk he stopped, held up his cellphone (in almost a religious way?) and circled around himself three times before finishing crossing the street. #lolwut

wishful thinking isn’t getting me very far, I need to find a balance between being proactive and being borderline pushy. In most senses, my life is zooming forward and is largely awesome.
